Welcome to our Home Learning pages.
The ongoing challenges of Covid 19 during this academic year have necessitated weeks where the majority of our pupils must learn remotely from home. At all times, the staff at Padstow School are committed to supporting our pupils and parents in order for their learning at home to be both effective and achievable.
We are maintaining our school community by providing continuous communication with parents as guidance changes or advice / information is available and by being contactable via phone or email for any queries. It is important that all children who are not in school are engaging with home learning so that they continue to make progress and build on their recent learning.
The Home Learning will be provided on the following platforms:
EYFS content will be delivered through Tapestry
Years 1 & 2 content will be delivered through Seesaw
Years 3 – 6 content will be delivered through Google Classroom
It is our expectation that all children learning from home, just like those learning at school, will access these platforms daily. Teachers will be accessing the platforms regularly and providing sequenced learning for their classes and individual feedback on submitted work.
Parents can log into their child's learning platform via the 'Child Login' button on this website's home page and can access support if needed from Aspire's IT helpdesk using the link below.
Please make sure, whichever device your child is on, internet safety is key. Do not leave your child unattended on the internet for long periods and do aim to engage with the activities that they are doing.
